This half-day program on September 24, includes presentations on the following:
- From Field Exploration to Foundation Design: Developing Shallow Foundation recommendations
Discover how geotechnical engineers investigate subsurface conditions and use field data to design safe, reliable foundations for buildings and infrastructure. - Geotechnical Challenges in Large-Scale Land Development Projects
Explore the complex ground conditions, engineering challenges and problem-solving strategies involved in preparing sites for major development projects. - Unmapped Mine Remediation by Construction Change Order
Learn how engineers responded to the unexpected discovery of an unmapped mine during construction and the solutions used to keep the project moving forward safely.
There is a $25 fee for professionals to attend. Proceeds benefit the DFI Educational Trust.
